The birth of a child is a miraculous and blessed occasion in any family. Bestowing a Baby Blessing on an infant is the most valuable and important gift imaginable, ensuring a wonderful start in life. Children are conditioned to absorb energy from their environment, which is why the baby blessing is designed to protect them from soaking up any negative influences. Within traditional Shamanic societies, babies were welcomed into our world with unique blessings which were given in order to create protection, and to prepare the child for life within the physical world.
